How to connect a room thermostat to Valiant VCW 242GBE combi

Hi, I moved into a house with a fairly old Valiant VCW 242GBE combi boiler installed. The boiler has a programmable timer and frost stat attached but no room thermostat. Could someone tell me how to attach a room thermostat, and to which connections, the electrical diagram doesn't seem to show where a room thermostat could be connected to.
