    Hi folks

Its probably been asked a few times, but I am getting a freesat plasma tv that Im told has 1 input from a dish.

My exisiting set up is sky plus which connects into the receiver with 2 inputs from the lnb.

On the lnb I can see further inputs/outputs, whats the best way of getting the freesat channels as I am looking to bin sky, only as i think its overpriced and repeats everthing more than once.

Hear from you all soon regards

All four sockets on the Sky LNB do the same thing. You can use any. The easiest way would be to use the cables already connected, but the choice is yours.

BTW, you do know that for a one-off payment of £20 you can get Sky's version of Freeview? That way you can still make use of your Sky box. If you decide to go this route as well then leave the cable to LNB1 connected on the Sky box, and then use the LNB2 cable for the Freesat receiver.

If you get a Freesat recorder then you might need two cables for that from the dish.

Unfortunately sky's policy is to turn off the recording feature if you don't have a subscription, they sometimes forget to actually do it though.
