I have a laminate floor which I do not like (due to its colour and 'feel'), what can I put on top to disguise it? I do not like fitted carpet either.

Would it be possible to 'glue' something on top like vinyl?

Or is this going to create problems with the laminate floor? :?

If you don't like the laminate it's best to remove it. Glueing anything on top of it might cause it to sweat
