Hi,
We're having a new stud wall built and have asked for this style of door/frame.
https://www.howdens.com/doors-joine...ors/internal-hardwood-doors/solid-rustic-oak/
Initially, he seemed fine with it, but now that the wall is built, he's saying that it's quite difficult, and the plaster will crack and won't look good. He wants to use a standard frame and put architrave on.
Is it really so difficult? I don't mind a few cracks (the whole house is full of them), but don't want it to look terrible. Could anyone explain how to build this style of frame, so that I can understand what the problems are?
Thanks,
Dan
