Can anybody help me out here ? I`m trying to cut small glass mosaic tiles with some tile nippers but they keep shattering. Do i need to score the tiles with a glass cutter or is there an all purpose tool that will cut a clean edge ?

How to cut glass mosaic tiles ?

I believe you'll need to score them first. If they're big enough it's best to break them as they do in a glaziers. That is, put the tile on an edge and tap the bit you want to break off. I think you'll have problems with tile nippers as they will tend to make the glass splinter - mind your eyes!
