How to deal with gap between concrete floor and wall

Looking for some advice on dealing with a gap between concrete floor and wall, in some parts I can get my fingers right down and can feel soil.

I want to lay a self levelling compound so want to avoid any run off etc. but conscious about introducing problems by allowing damp to travel through.

Just had the walls injected with DPC and tanked. But I dont know if there is any below the concrete floor.
