How to delete icloud from my iphone 5s?

Hi Folks

I went to CEX today in order to sell my iphone 5s which I no longer use. The shop assistant said he would give me £52 for it. However, he also said I need to delete my icloud account from it.

The problem is before I took it to the shop, I reset the phone and now I can't get back into my icloud account in order to delete it !

Please advice.

if you factory reset it no need to do anything .

Sell it on eBay; more hassle, but more money.
