Hi

I am changing a single phase to three phase to new garage and then taking off single phase supply for new house.

Garage equiptment is three phase spot welder 28kva and compressor (not sure of KVA will be about 3hp) that I use for my hobby of restoring old cars - house is 5bed house.

How do I calculate the three phase power requirement to give me enough for the garage and house.

Regards
John

I suggest you ask your electrician.

And if you've not already done so, I also suggest you be seated when you look at the price for changing the supply.
