Say your kitchen door, you like it closed however when you have to go in you need to push a handle down? Thats hard when you dont have any hands free. Just want to push the door?
Or is the loud 'click' that you get when you close the door annoying?
I found a way to stop this from happening.
The easiest way is to get some tissue, roll it up into a ball. Then push the handle down and you will see the 'button' go in. Force the ball into the gap and let go of the handle. The button will not come out. Close the door and ensure the button does not come out. Then stick some tape over them.
This is paricualrly useful when you have door closers.
However, some doors open by themselves maybe because they are old. If so dont do this as the button holds it closed.
You may be thinking why not take it out completely? But what if it comes with a lock? You want to lock it, but just push it open.
