Hi,
When I had my old wooden front door replaced for a UPVC door I specified a pad handle to replicate the functionality of the Yale lock I had.
It works great apart from the fact that there is no way to put the lock "on the latch" like you can with a nightlatch. I'd like the ability to leave the door unlocked when I'm expecting guests etc.
The best I've managed is to lift the handle to engage the multipoint latches when the door is open thus preventing it from closing fully but it really isn't a good solution.
Is there a way I can do it without sacrificing the pad handle?
