how to finish feather edge boards at corner of shed

I am constructing a shed and plan to use feather edge boards as exterior cladding. I would like to know how best to finish the corners (external corners) to keep the weather out and give a neat looking corner.

Any experienced advice most welcome as I've not used horizontal boards before - always vertical one which are easy to do the corners with!

Fix a corner post for the feather edge to run into, a piece of 3x2 or something.
