I've got a Bauknecht WA8760BG wasing machine and the ineer bearings have failed. I'fve got the drum out but for the life of me, can't figure out how to remove the outer bearing. I can see that is has been pushed into place, but there is no way to get a grip on it to pull it out. All retainied spring washers, nuts etc have been removed.
I've even removed the bearing cover but can't lift the assembly out of it's housing. Any suggestions.

you are supposed to take the inner drum and spider out before you take the bearings out

I did that.
What I had (innerdrum, inner spider, back plate, outerspider)?
The only thing that is stopping me removing the outer-spider is the Bearing.
There are no other connections, bolts, screws etc.

outer spider?

dont mean the pulley do you ( a big wheel)

you have to take that off too, then belt the spider (drum support) with a hammer and it shoots through onto the floor (it does if you hit it hard enough) but seriously gently hit it and put a towel in the outer drum to catch it

No, the pully is off (this was connected to the outer spider.
Imagine :-
Inner drum , inner-spider, outdrum-seal, outer-spider. Connecting all 4 is the axle (in the centre of the out-spider is a "well" with the axle surrounded by the "outer-bearing").

I imagine this bearing is pushed on from the outside. So , I would imagine I have to suspend the from from the outer-spider and Hit the Axel protruding from the bearing.

I forgot to ass, the inner drummer is connected to the innder spider by rivets.
