Why use mould remover for £5 when you can remove same with bleach for £1?
I had some recent experience with digging out grout. Dremel grout bit works. Similar bits of different sizes are available from china.

If you don’t have tools you can stitch drill (4-5mm masonry bit)down either side and break out the raised area .
