Could someone give me advice to install a new socket for a freezer in garrage
(no spare MCB in main consumer unit.
Garage is 8metres away there is a old wire under ground connected to downstaires lights. used light load 360 w total
The house is procted by RCD. the old socket is a 3 pin soaket on wood with a earth added underground connected to 5 amp fuse earth wire to cold water supply, because the down stairs light circuit is not earthed
The new freexer is rated at 300 W

Is it safe to cut into the downstaires ring circuit with 2.5 core and connect under floorbord to amoured cable underground connect to radical 2.5 mm in garage for one soaket and a fused conector for a light buulb
Do I need any other bits like a RCD in garage or a fused conection unit?

thank you for any help

This may help you but quite honestly your wiring sounds old it is very involved work and I think you would be well advised to get a quote off a reliable electrician. In any case this work is notifiable.
