How to know if an electrcian is qualified in Scotland?

I’m not in Scotland but, if you read the document in my earlier post #15, it seems that there are three competent person schemes for electricians recognised by the govt in Scotland. NICEIC, SELECT and NAPIT. There’s search links on the first page of the document. It’s really not difficult!

Look for those logos on the electrician’s documents, van etc and CHECK ON THE SCHEME websites to ensure that the spark is actually still a member.

I'm looking at electrcians in Scotland and honestly none have any kind of way of verifying their qualifications or if they are registered with any kind of governing body either.
Probably best to just see recommendations and reviews.
Where are you and what you wanting done?
