How to level timber floor before laying laminate?

I laid 6mm ply on top of timber floorboard in order to try get it level.

However I still have some areas that dip/ uneven

What can I do now in order to get the floor level before laying the underlay/ laminate?

You can self levelling screed over the ply.

Is this two part latex levelling compound suitable?

It does say that it can be used on timber. But just concerned that it may only be recommended on tiles as opposed to laminate.

Or does it not make a difference?
