Hi,
I planted 2 berberis telstar shrubs in my garden 2 years ago, they are well established but now and i could do with 2 or 3 more. They where quite cheap to start with but i was thinking is there anyway i can get new plants from my current ones? do i take a cutting and hope it grows or dig the 2 current shrubs up and cut them in half at the root?

Thanks

I wouldn't dig them up. The usual way to propagate evergreen shrubs like berberis is by semi-ripe cuttings. There's still time to do them this year. But, they're pretty cheap to buy from places like this so unless you desperately want the practice........
