how to refill Vaillant Turbomax 824E

HI and HELP!


I have an eight year old Vaillant Turbomax plus 824E combi boiler. I am trying to re-fill the boiler and I have been told there should be two slotted screw valves underneath the boiler which control the inlet.

However on my boiler there is only one! (the one on the left. The one on the right in that video doesn't exist). Anyone got any ideas where the other one is?

a picture would help

with these particular models there are two slots.you can use special key or a flat screwdriver. if you look carefully you will find another one as well

I rang Vaillant tech helpline and they said it might have been fitted with just one screw valve underneath. I have looked all over and can't find a second one.

I have the same problem with this boiler. There is just one screw valve underneath, can't find a second one. How did you manage to solve this?
