Hello, I've been trying to remove the dpf on my focus 2010 1.6tdci to clean it, the 02 sensor at the top comes loose easy but the other two sensors lower down are a different story, as far as I know? these have to be removed so that the heat shield can slide off to give access to the two bolts at the back holding the dpf onto the engine, anyway my question is- is there any tips or tricks to get the thing off without removing the bottom two sensors, any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Can you remove the dpf with the heat shield still on? This would solve my problem if you can, As far as I could see there was two bolts at the back which were holding it onto the engine, but it looks like you need the heat shield off to get to these?? Is there another way I wonder???

And when its off clear the baffles out with say a chisel then get it mapped out , your car will love you for it.
