How to remove Bosch bit?

I've just got one of these bit sets pictured. I placed one of the bits into the holder and used it in a cordless drill.

Should the bit simply pull out of the holder now that I wish to remove it - or is there something else I should be doing? The bit won't seem to pull out. I did notice when it went in that the magnet pulled it into holder with some force.

They normally pull out. Try holding the bit with pliers and pulling apart
Possibly a bit of grit is making it stick?

On mine,not Bosch the outer sleeve slides back which releases the bit

Problem solved. The black sleeve slides forward, however the bit was still stuck. So with the sleeve slid forward I pulled the bit out with a pair of vice grips.
