I have a caple single lever tap in my kitchen that leaks so I want to take apart to determine what I need to replace, howere I cant see any obvious way to get into the unit. Is anyone able to advise looking at the picture how you open this type of tap up. There is no cap on the end to remove, so I am wondering if you unscrew the lever, and if there is grub or allen srew under there, or if you unscrew the housing along the vertical split on the main body. My concern with both these approaches is scratching the finish so wanted to ask before I do something stupid.
Many Thanks....Rob

Unscrew the lever arm and then remove the shroud from the main body of the tap.

Is it leaking from the spout/body joint or from the end of the shroud?

Ok, have removed to get the cartridge out and now need to figure out if I need to replace cartridge or just clean the internal face of the uniblock (some scaling, but not around the seals) and replace the triple seal between cartridge and uniblock face. It was leaking from the end of the shroud, so I am guessing this means cartridge, but appreciate your advice.
Many Thanks...Rob
