How to repair paving pointing (photos included)

Hi, grateful for some advice on how to repair the pointing in our garden paving. Some small holes have appeared and need repair. Please see attached photos.

remove the lot and start again.

well thats what i'd do as i have my reputation and would want a nice new even looking job.if its for yourself and want a cheap makeover,just rake out the defective areas and repoint.normally if some of the pointing is now defective the rest wont be far behind.so next year you will ahve another patch to do and so on till its all been redone.

Thanks. And what sort of mixture for the pointing, wet or dry . . . what ratio sand/cement? Any tips gratefully received.

i agree with chukka, repairs stand out a mile away. have a look down the page on the crazy paving one, there is some recent advice there.
