HOW TO REPLACE A HOTPOINT DOOR HANDLE

the handle is broken on my hotpoint aquaris wd640 i managed to get it apart but cant seem to work out which way the spring goes so i can put it back together can anyone help me

Spring goes behind the door striker so it gives tension. Also the door has a mold for the spring to sit in.
