Our Honeywell ST9400C 7 day 2 channel programmer http://www.plumbnation.co.uk/site/honeywell-st9400c-7-day-two-channel-programmer/ and a thermostat were both fitted on the wall right next to our Vaillant Ecotec 630 boiler.
We have been advised to move the thermostat to a better location, and someone's suggested a wireless thermostat as the easiest option.
My question is - do we have to buy a like-for-like replacement - e.g. Honeywell Y6630D http://www.plumbnation.co.uk/site/honeywell-y6630d1007-wireless-analogue-room-thermostat---hc60-set/ or can we buy a programmable 7 day thermostat e.g. Honeywell CM927 http://www.honeywelluk.com/products/Systems/Wireless/CM927/? Does this thermostat also control the hot water? Are there any advantages to having this one, seeing as we already have the Honeywell programmer ST9400C?
Many thanks
