We have lifted the old red floor bricks and plan on relaying them on top of underfloor heating. Our house is very old (500 years!) and we want the bricks to retain a feeling of age, but be practical for use.. they will be in the kitchen.
What is the best product to seal them?
I have heard of boiled linseed oil followed by beeswax. Someone else suggested shellac. But I really don't know the pros and cons of either.
Thanks
