How to stick on wall a decorative moulding which is bent

Hi,

I would like to stick on the wall a pine wood decorative moulding of 2 meters long, without nail but with glue/silicone. The problem is that the moulding is bending and not lying flat on the wall. When I press on one side to stick the thing to the wall, the moulding jumps at the other end.

How can I do to stick that without using nails?

get a couple of long pieces of timber and use these to brace the new molding to the wall.
