My divan bed is on 8 casters and on a wooden floor. Because it kept slipping along the floor during the night (allowing my pillows slip down the back onto the floor) I bought a set of caster cups. However, they don't work - the cups just slide along the floor.

I don't want to remove the casters from the bed because obviously I need to move the bed to hoover underneath or get access to all the drawers. I can't attach a headboard (to retain the pillows in place) as there is already a headboard on the wall.

Short of buying a carpet, how can I stop it from slipping about?

Maybe try and contain your night time passions a little? Having a couple of kids often puts a dampener on these kinds of problem.

Kingston Snap-Fit are probably the best caster cup range on the market and they will offer either felt bottomed caster cups or rubber bottom non-slip ones, usually in three colours and 3 different caster sizes. They are an excellent product if you don't fancy nailing some gate hooks to your bed/wall

How often do you need to move the bed? Can you not just remove the casters?

Cheers
Richard
