How to stop dampness

Hi,

I own a small studio flat which i converted in a one bedroom flat by a small partision wall.

The outside wall in the bedroom is covered in damp and the carpet is wet.Have tried to place vents above door and one in beside wall/ window.

Anyone has advise to overcome this problem.
