my son managed to remove the chain from his roller blind, while I managed to refit that his blind won't retract fully now.

My next option is to take the whole blind down and try to re-chain while the blind is off.

My problem is that I can't see any way of taking the blind down, I don't want to destroy anything they are brand new!

Clearly if there is a way to re-chain properly without removing the blind I'm more than happy to give that a go.

I've included photos of the brackets

Normally the white circular part with the chains running through it (on your first photo) can be pushed towards the centre say 1/4" (its spring loaded) allowing the blind to be removed.

As above. If that doesn't work check if you can pull the white plastic cap of the fixing brackets. If you can you will see on one side a short piece of metal rod sticking through the bracket. Push this in.

Thanks both. Pushing in from the chain end did the trick! Cheers for the advice.
