Howdens appliance doors

Just helping son to fit Howdens kitchen units.
The integrated doors for washer and dryer are not pre drilled for the hinges, is this normal or have I just been unlucky?
I suspect I do not have the appropriate sized bit
I have also posted this under building, am I breaking any rule?

I have bought ones which are predrilled. Ikea and off the web.

I would advise you NOT to try to drill them yourself (MDF ?) - but get Howdens to do it - hardly unreasonable.

I have known appliance doors not to be pre-drilled or even marked but not sure if they were Howdens or not. Had to measure and drill myself. It was a while ago now but I seem to remember laying the door and the appliance door on bocks of the correct height, making it easier to drill.

If you have copy & pasted your post then you will probably get a mild wrist slapping.

I used a router bit in a hand held drill to cut holes for my washing machine door. Just make sure you don't go too deep.
