HP C7280 will not scan to computer

HP C7280 photosmart all in one will not scan to computer,the error message is "no scan options refer to device documentation to troubleshoot"
Tried it all and am getting nowhere
I am running windows 7 which is 64 bit, i have tried updates and still no joy PLEASE help if you can.

Have you read the documentation?

Normally you have to set up a shared folder to scan to via the web interface, it should all be explained in the manual. Not all of the printer options are available through the display on the printer.

This topic maybe 3 years old now but still relevent to me as i am suffering the very same problem.

Oh aye and it's an HP B110 i;m having the grief with and i am able to wirelessly print fine and dandy.
