Hull isn't so bad after all

I've been to Hull only once, that was about 10 years ago. I thought it was a grand city but it did have a lot of 'troubled' people wandering about the centre. I love the town of Beverley also.

I had a teacher called Beverly Evans. We would take the píss out of him for having a girls name. He would tell us that he was named after a town in Yorkshire.
One of the regrets I still have thats followed me through life.

Truthful. It was bullying. Id love to apologise to the man if hes not dead
Nothing worse than kids for being like this, a teacher with a name like Beverley would expect a bit of ribbing. If it wasn't his name it would have been something else. I doubt he would have bothered about it.

I hope not.
If he is in heaven looking down I hope he can see that till this day it lives with and bothers me.

I would wager it bothered him less. I think all teachers get some stick that they pass off as just kids being kids.

I get that. In a way it makes me feel better that I haven't forgiven myself.

Ive reminisced with old school friends on horrible things we did as kids. They would laugh. I could never laugh for the horrible things I did as a kid.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I am the same but unfortunately I have some serious regretts of some horrible things that I have done as an adult too, things that will haunt me forever. I think that is the reason why I love animals so much. We could learn a lot from the animal kingdom.

Exactly....

I once lived in a town that the locals said was a hell-hole for a year or so. I thought it was fine, but I lived on the outskirts.

We're seeing the breakdown of society now though, everywhere is getting worse every year. Especially all major towns and cities, where the new imported replacement British population are being sent. We moved a few years ago, and deliberately chose not to live "in" anywhere. We live in a field, our neighbours are cows, they're far more civilised than the human race.

Mine are more cringy than horrible.

We are not alone.

I often wonder if Lennie Henry regrets his David Bellamy impersonations...÷.....
