Some of you will remember my Worcester 9.24 combi ,hot water only working with CH, so changed diverter valve, this made no difference, so removed secondry Heat exchanger and cleaned/descaled. no difference. so fitted another new divertor valve, hot water now OK with or without CH but flow pipe still getting warm when on demand for HW, any way after a few days we are now back to square one, HW barely hot without CH.
What can be the problem ???????

I am left wondering why the first replacement diverter valve did not fix it but the second one did ???

Was the first one faulty and did you get it replaced free of charge?

It would appear that the second one did not cure the problem, it just improved it,after having no hot water at all, anything is an improvement ,as I said even after the second replacement the flow pipe was still getting hot, when I beleive the heated water should be "diverted" away from this fully.
The suppliers did replace the first valve FOC, I still have the first one, but I do not see any apparent fault or difference in its operation.
