Hydrangeas- winter maintenance?

Hi

Please see photos of two hydrangeas in our border. I haven’t done any dead heading yet. Should I wait a few weeks, or should I just leave them as they are?

I think they look nice as they decay over winter. The softer parts rot away leaving something like lacework. Tastes vary, of course.

Mop head hydrangeas should be left on till spring.
