I have a concealed shower that is struggling to heat up fully

There is no model name marked on it so unsure about spars. I imagine swapping the hole shower would involve removing tiles?

Possibly, that's the shower. It gets hot but not hot enough I wondered if can move the settings on the cartridge if remove the metal cover

Don't you have to press and hold in the button on the centre control while you turn it to a hotter setting.

At present I can move the nob all the way to the left and still not hot enough

Looks none thermostatic , can you turn the isolation valve on the cold inlet down?

I don't think there is an isolation unless there is one under the cover. I emailed the picture to shower doctor. They say I need to remove the cartridge so they can identify. I I do this putting the old one back in may not seal? And maybe left with a leak till the new one comes?

Read the manual for that as it may be close enough for you to work out how to access things based on that alone and adjust the temperature stop.

You will need to turn off the hot and cold supplies to the shower mixer (or the entire dwelling if no separate isolators) to change the mixer valve (or just clean and descale it). I ensured full bore isolators were fitted to my new ensuite shower mixer (the original builders did not ).

A tiny smear of silicone grease on the o-rings helps them slide in and seal.

Thanks there does seem to be away of possibly adjusting the temperature.

If could get one exactly the same I guess swapping the total unit could be an option.

My first port of call would be to check the incoming hot water supply to the shower from either the boiler or hot water cylinder. Is that hot enough?
