i have heating but dont have hot water

the water supply is just running cold if i put my immersion on i get hot water that way

i have a potterton suprima prima
boiler

any ideas
some one mentioned an airlock and some one also mentioned a switich

also noticed that my radiator in the main bedroom isnt as hot at the top as all my other radiators does that just need bleeding or is it because of this possible faulty valve

Sounds like bleeding... why not bleed it to find out
