I need a 12mm mircobore isolating valve.

Hi,

My radiators are on a 12mm pipe system and only have a valve on one side. As i need to remove a radiator to decorate I need to put an isolating valve in the system buy can't find anywhere that sells them.

Any ideas? I live in london.

You should not fit isolating valves onto rad systems ideally.......try freezing it. If you must fit one get it from a plumbing merchants (yellow pages and call em firts) otherwise BES do em

A quick google shows you can buy 12mm reducing sets to allow 12mm pipe to go into 15mm compression fittings such as valves. http://www.buyplumbing.co.uk/VEM-CR1512

Not sure where you'll be able to get them locally over the counter though.

B&Q sell 15mm ball valves for around £7 each.
