Just back from the gym, I was studying myself for quite some time in the mirrors. I have an impressive upper body that most men would die for, however I just feel let down by my legs, I have legs shaped more like a woman than for my physique. In jeans etc I have really shapely legs but I want them more muscular to match the rest of me. Any suggestions for workouts for my legs.

Cycle to work!
I used to do a bit of cycling and enjoyed it but it never really did anything regards my legs. I used to do a lot of spin classes and I think thats what made them so shapely.

Forget the gym, unless you can afford a personal trainer. If you want to get fit & look good then there are only 2 things you need to do.

No'1 Swimming. Have you ever seen an unfit swimmer? They don't do gym exercises, almost all of their training is done in the pool & have you seen Adam Peaty recently, he's ripped.

No'2 cycling. See above.

Unless you do track cycling, its not going to improve the size of your legs. Cycling is mainly about lungs and heart.
I have concentrated all of my workouts for years around my upper body and neglected my legs in my obsession. Now I have achieved my goals for my upper I need to get my legs to the same standard, not going to be easy.

I am fully ripped but my legs belong on a female body.

Swimming will make you good at swimming, and have good cardio fitness.

And, as good swimming is hugely reliant on technique, the best swimmers get less of a workout from it.

Finally re: Peaty, you're talking utter cobblers.
He shifts weights with explosive power as an essential part of his training.
Same with the sprint freestylers like Ben pre-Enhanced Games Proud.

I am contemplating popping a pic on of myself with my face removed to show what I am working with here, I have lovely legs but I don't want lovely legs, they are not right for my body. I know a few on here are ripped and wondered what they do for their legs as I just do not get the results I am looking for, I never post pics of myself as I am not a show off and I take my personal privacy and security extremely serious. but if I can hide my identity then someone may see my legs and give some advice, not sure if a pic would help?

I do a leg day followed by an arm day

That was a bit of internet advice I picked up to avoid your isssue.

My routines are very light nothing serious

Have you thought about training your legs properly at the gym ?

I used to watch people with big shoulders etc and try and copy their exercises.
