I have a Kuppersbusch IKE 458-4-4T fridge freezer. There is ice building up at the back so presumably the heating element is not working and needs replacing. Looking at the parts diagram (https://shop.electrolux.co.uk/search/?text=92578170500 (click on cooling system)), there are two; a 'heating element conveyor' and another labelled 'heating 230v'. Whats the difference between the two and which one do i need?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you checked that they have an electrical supply & are open circuit? Presuming can work out an expensive way to go.

Is there a fan? Often ice build up can stop the fan and then ice build up speeds up greatly.

Yes, there’s a fan but it isn’t blocked. The ice build up is at the bottom and the fan is higher up. The ice build up isn’t awful, it’s just annoying and obviously shouldn’t be happening.

What’s the difference between the 2 parts?
