ICE told to get the eff out

The video I saw was her driving off at speed with an Ice agent being dragged along, I think at that point the shooting was justified.

He wasn't dragged along. He was totally unharmed. She does a three point turn and, as she goes past, he shoots her in the head at point blank range. She was not posing a danger to anyone and therefore, by the ICE rules of engagement, the shooting cannot have been justified. The authorities don't agree on what happened. Trump's team are saying one thing, the local authorities are saying the opposite.

Your version of events differs from both the video footage and the authorities. I will go along with the official authorities unless further evidence is presented. Had she not been shot dead I wonder what the outcome would have been, if she had stopped when told to do so.
Depends which " authority " you listen to. It's not that clear cut....

We can bring you some more reaction now from state and local leaders, starting with Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey.

He lashed out at ICE and bluntly rejected the Trump administration's assertion that the agent had shot Renee Nicole Good in self defence.

Frey said the ICE agent was "reckless", and said video of the shooting contradicts what he called the government’s “garbage narrative”

The problem with looking at it that way is that the US police don't exactly have a great reputation when it comes to using their guns...

Self preservation could also mean the desire to get the hell away from the situation would kick in...

Because the cop would quite likely shoot anyway!
Which is exactly why it makes more sense to comply, whether you think you're guilty of something or not.

However it's not lost on me that the fight or flight instinct is real and may have been a factor here.

I will say again, I am not condoning ICE actions, the whole thing in the states at present is a nightmare.

Well the fact remains that she has been shot dead, right or wrong is not for anyone here to say one way or the other. There is an argument to say she didn't comply with orders to stop when told to do so, she thought it was ok to run into a man with a gun pointing at her. Not a great decision, maybe the ice agent was a bit trigger happy, even more of a reason to stop. The judgments made on both sides are not the best.

Her ex brother in law is asserting she shouldn't have been there, had no real reason to be there. And no, I'm not stupid, given he's an ex relative, I appreciate his opinion of her might be negatively influenced in some way.

Ultimately, she's left her kids without their mum.

Well let's wait for MBK to give his opinion of it from a legal stance. He will know better but pretty sure she acted irresponsibly and caused this tragedy. The question of why didn't she comply and stop?

In the video, a man with his face covered strides up to her car door and tries to open it. It looks like she's trying to avoid that. Then they shoot her dead.

yes that is what I have seen, I thought at first she had dragged him but she drove at him.

No, she drove away from him. These are some stills from the Washington Post of the three gun shots. With the first shot, you can see he is standing to the left of the vehicle and its wheels are turned to the right. At this point she is just setting off. She is clearly turning away from him. He shoots her to try to stop her escaping and then shoots her twice more as she drives away from him.

There is more justification to shoot her than her own justification for failing to comply with orders.
