ICE told to get the eff out

There is more justification to shoot her than her own justification for failing to comply with orders.

That just isn't true. She was obviously stupid not to comply. We will never know what justification she might have had for fleeing. But we do know for certain that the agent had absolutely no justification for shooting her. They are simply not allowed to shoot somebody just because they are trying to escape.

I have just found the rules for the DoJ, which includes the FBI. ICE comes under Department of Homeland Security. I am sure they are similar, though:

A. Deadly Force

Law enforcement and correctional officers of the Department of Justice may use deadly force only when necessary, that is, when the officer has a reasonable belief that the subject of such force poses an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to the officer or to another person.

  1. Deadly force may not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect.
  2. Firearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles. Specifically, firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless: (1) a person in the vehicle is threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle; or (2) the vehicle is operated in a manner that threatens to cause death or serious physical injury to the officer or others, and no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle. Firearms may not be discharged from a moving vehicle except in exigent circumstances. In these situations, an officer must have an articulable reason for this use of deadly force.

He is bang to rights. Second degree murder. But he might never face justice.

Where is @motorbiking as he is the only one on here qualified to give us a professional opinion. In the mean time the Authorities have given their opinion which we cannot argue against. It was a lawful killing but I doubt they meant to actually kill her, a couple of shots to her legs would have been better, it is a terrible outcome but totally understandable

They murdered a frightened innocent woman and mother. It's a low point for sure.
And then had the audacity to label her " a terrorist".

It may have been an unfortunate set of circumstances, depending on your view, but the label is a definite sign of a cover up.

Cover ups never end well

US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Good had been "stalking and impeding their work" all day by "blocking them in" with her car and "shouting at them".

Good "weaponised her vehicle", Noem told reporters, and then tried to run over one of the officers "in an attempt to kill or cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic terrorism".

The ICE agent feared for his life, Noem said, and "fired defensive shots".

Not from what I've read from him

Again. Depends on which "authority " you listen to.
. It was a lawful killing
I don't think it's that clear cut
but I doubt they meant to actually kill her,
He shot to kill. No doubt about that

Yes. And I think theres a lot more to come out yet.

Terrible for her. It might yet be terrible for others too

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Noem is a Trump stooge spreading desperate propaganda. The victim is a soccer mum, not a terrorist.
