Yeah, no i meant the sidewalk where ICE agents were operating. Her wife was one of a group of demonstrators doing that and i think the agents wanted the road clear along the sidewalk for their own vehicles to get access.

That might explain why at one point her car was in the middle of one of the lanes. Maybe she has been asked to get clear of the pavement. We need a lot more info about what happened beforehand.

For me the officer made a bad choice using his body to block her escape. I am suspicious that this was a tactic to give him grounds to shoot.

He had already done a 360 degree slow walk around the vehicle, he didn't appear to stop in front of the vehicle, so he wasn't spending much time actually preventing the vehicle driving off. She badly chose a moment to drive off, when he was in front of the car, and at a time, when frustrated officers were now insisting she got out of the car, to likely arrest her. So I wouldn't call that an deliberate attempt to block the vehicle with his body, besides, if she'd simply waited, a fraction of a second, she would have cleared him.

It's difficult to know what to do when a man has his arm inside your car, trying to drag you out. Maybe that agent caused her to panic.

The killer had already switched his phone to his left hand so that he could access his gun.

Has anyone yet provided any proper details of what she is supposed to have done wrong.
