Wiring centre as photos , water at the moment is heated by immersion
The customer b- in - law diagnosed cylinder stat as problem and they got someone to change it 6 weeks ago, no change
In the wiring centre there is 4 wires from the danfoss hsa3 valve
Brown and white to number 5, linked to a yellow wire
Grey in 8 linked to blue from cyl stat
Orange in 7 linked to black from cyl stat
Blue in 2
Cylinder stat
Common brown in 6
No 1 blue in 8 linked to valve grey
No 2 black in 7 linked to valve orange
On c/ h 240 volts on valve wires grey , orange and brown
Call for dhw at programer get 240 volts on grey only
On cylinder stat when turned up 240 volts on common and no 1
When turned down 240 volts at common and no 2
Boiler fired when stat turned down ( I think) , programmer was demanding dhw
Took head off valve and shaft just spun with no effect or resistance

Is the cylinder stat incorrectly wired?
Is the valve knackered?
