Hi, I have an Icos HE12 (5 years old) and today it seems to be on all the time. The display remains on all the time even if I turn the programmer to manual off (Siemens RBW29). I've tried turning it off completely but when I turn it back on the boiler lights up. Thanks for any advice.

Is it receiving a call to heat?
If yes then you have an issue with external controls.
If no then the PCB is goosed.
If yes then you have an issue with external controls.
If no then the PCB is goosed.

Do you have access to and know how to use a multi-meter?
Do you have access to and know how to use a multi-meter?
Is the boiler receiving a call to heat from the controls?
They maybe off, but that doesn't mean there isn't a fault causing the boiler to fire.
Is there a call for heat at the boiler's switched live connection?
