My daughter has what she calls an Ideal c 80 or 95 FF.
When she wants hot water for shower etc she has to turn on the heating.
After a while what she describes as a red light illuminates on the front & the system shuts down.
She says she relights via the red light/switch, it fires up & runs for varying periods, approx 10 mins.

Any ideas as to whats wrong PLEASE. There is water in the system to approx 1.5 bar

is this possible for a diyer?

Thanks for that, is it poss for a competent diy er or am I looking at Corgi ? Nick W

Seems you have two faults!

The diverter valve diaphragm which can be done by a clever DIYer and a combustion related problem causing the ignition lockout which would be a CORGI or very competent person in their own home.
