I have just bought a house with a minimiser ff60 boiler, and the previous owners , despite promising to leave " All the information you need" have left me with nothing.

The boiler is not igniing, and I saw on the site that I need to clean the burner out ... problem is I can't see how to get at it

Tried Ideal, but with no luck .. the boiler must be too old ...

I am planning to replace , but need to get it running in the short term ...

Anyone out there who can let me have a copy of the manual?

it will either need cleaning out (and it may not be possible to do that to a reasonable standard depending on how long its been left without a service) or it will need new electrodes.

depending on what its doing it could also be the spark generator and possibly the gas valve.

at any rate dont "clean the burner out" yourself as at an absolute minimum you will need the fan o-ring and the burner o-ring to replace the definately shagged ones that come off.

Thanks ! :D
The manual was what I needed!

I did the fault find and managed to get the thing to work.

Now I just need to find someone who understands underfloor heating systems and can install zones ( The system has the valves, but no actuators and no thermostats) I think I am going to need wireless ones )
At the same time I think I will invest in another boiler!

Thanks again !
