Ideal Classic R30 boiler not firing up but pilot is lit

Hi everyone

I have a problem with my boiler not firing up.

Symptoms:
No heating or hot water
Pump whirs when the heating/water is switched on at the control panel
power is going to the control panel
gas flame doesn't "flare up" when then heating is switched on
control panel clicks on when the heating\water is switched on

I've tried:
turning the thermostat up and switching on heating\water
resetting the panel
have removed the boiler panel to have a look and can't see anything obviously disconnected

the heating\water hasn't been switched off for a period of time

Replace the boiler casing and call out a gas engineer , sounds like its gas related.

Called an engineer and it was the solenoid
