I wonder if someone can help we have a ideal esprit eco 30 and a Siemens rdj100rf time clock and thermostat
The problem we are having is that the time clock seems to be working correctly but the boiler intermittently shows that the century heating is on, but the burner and pump do not seem to kick in if on the original built-in time clock which is always switched to permanently on if you turn it off and then turn it back on again it all seems to reset and carries on working okay sometimes this works okay for a day or so other times every time it reaches temperature it won’t kick back in so you have to reset it again the boiler has had a new divert valve fitted. I was wondering whether it could be the original time clock causing a problem and if there was a blanking play and link you could buy for this
As I’ve said, the Siemens time clock/thermostat shows with the test probe that it it is working okay
The connections for this thermostat sender are live and neutral power connected to the live and neutral Power at the boiler and then two signal wires from the boiler thermostat connections to the switching side of the sender
I’m thinking there’s either a problem with the PCB or the original time clock that is been left permanently on
