Hi all

Boiler suddenly stopped working last night. I got up into the loft to see which error code was displayed but there was no display at all.

There is power getting to the on off switch on the boiler and the fuse on the PCB seems ok but nothing will fire up even with the reset button being pushed. The boiler is about three years old. Am I right in thinking that its probably the PCB?.

Thank you

It is likely to be the PCB.

Assuming you have correctly measured the voltage into the boiler taking into account the neutral of course.

A BG fixed price repair sounds the best solution.

Thanks Agile.

I'm not into measuring voltages I'm afraid - just the basic electrics for me. It does however look quite a simple job to replace - a few screws and connectors. Am I correct?

Thanks.

Well I would not be spending £200 on replacing the PCB without being sure that it was not just a neutral fault!
