Ideal He18 problem

I have a problem with my boiler. Basically when I turn the heating on, it begins to tick over and fires up, then the thermostat clicks off completely which knocks the pump off. The thermostat comes back on after a second but the status is c and the burner light now flashing. Then the process just repeats. Just wondered if anyone has had a similar problem.
